Shipping Policy
Last Updated: August 2026
This Shipping Policy applies to products purchased through chanharm-welder.com.
Because our products include accessories, standard machines, and custom equipment or solutions, order preparation times, production lead times, shipping methods, and estimated delivery times may vary by order.
1. Order Preparation and Production Lead Times
Accessories and Standard Machines
Accessories and standard machines generally require approximately 3–5 business days for order preparation. This time may include order confirmation, product inspection, necessary testing, packaging, and shipping arrangements.
Actual preparation time may vary depending on the product type, order quantity, and other order-specific circumstances.
Custom Equipment or Solutions
For custom equipment or solutions involving changes to specifications, configurations, technical parameters, or other requirements, production lead times will depend on the scope of customization.
Before an order is confirmed, we will typically discuss the product specifications, configuration, pricing, estimated production lead time, shipping arrangements, and other relevant details with the customer. These details will be confirmed in a quotation, order confirmation, or other written communication.
Order preparation or production lead time is separate from shipping transit time.
2. Shipping Origin and Methods
Our products are generally shipped directly from China. For certain countries or regions, orders may also be shipped from one of our local partner warehouses.
We select the appropriate shipping method based on the product's size and weight, destination, and actual logistics conditions. Shipping methods may include, but are not limited to:
- International parcel services
- International express courier services
- Air freight
- Sea freight
- Rail freight
- Truck freight
- Other shipping methods appropriate for the specific order
Large, heavy, or specially handled equipment may be shipped in multiple stages. In these cases, the shipment will first complete the international transportation stage and will then be delivered to the final destination by a local courier, freight company, or truck carrier.
The shipping method for custom equipment or solutions is typically determined during the quotation or order confirmation process.
3. Estimated Shipping and Delivery Times
International shipping times can vary based on several factors, including the destination country or region, exact delivery address, product size and weight, shipping method, carrier, customs clearance, and local logistics conditions.
For this reason, we cannot provide a single fixed delivery timeframe for all countries and regions.
For accessories and standard machines, we can provide an estimated shipping or delivery time based on the delivery address and the shipping method used.
For custom equipment or solutions, the estimated delivery time will typically be provided during the quotation or order confirmation process.
All shipping and delivery times provided are estimates only. Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, an estimated delivery date is not a guaranteed delivery date.
4. Customs Clearance, Import Duties, Taxes, and Other Fees
Import regulations and customs clearance requirements vary by country and region, so the applicable customs process will depend on the destination.
For certain countries and regions, we are able to arrange import customs clearance and pay the applicable import duties through our logistics partners. In these cases, customers generally do not need to handle customs clearance themselves or make additional import duty payments to local customs authorities.
For other countries or regions, local regulations, customs requirements, or shipping restrictions may require the recipient to assist with customs clearance and pay any applicable import duties, taxes, or other local charges imposed by customs authorities or other relevant agencies.
For example, certain shipments to Hawaii, Mexico, Brazil, and other destinations with similar customs requirements may require the recipient to participate in the customs clearance process.
In these situations, UPS, another international carrier, a local logistics provider, or the destination customs authority may contact the recipient directly by phone, email, text message, or other means to request required customs information or documents and to notify the recipient of any applicable charges. Customers should respond promptly, as failure to cooperate may prevent the shipment from clearing customs or proceeding to final delivery.
Where local regulations require action by the recipient, we cannot complete identity verification, import declarations, or local tax payments on the recipient's behalf. However, we can provide commercial invoices, product information, and other shipping or customs documents that are reasonably required from the shipper.
If an order requires the customer to handle customs clearance, pay import duties, or bear other local charges, we will inform the customer before shipment.
Once the shipment has been dispatched, we will not charge the customer any additional product or shipping fees that were not previously agreed upon, except for costs resulting from an unreachable recipient, an incorrect address, failure to cooperate with delivery, or special delivery requirements requested by the customer outside the original shipping arrangement, including redelivery, storage, or other related charges.
If a destination customs authority, carrier, or local government requires the recipient to pay import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, or other local charges, those charges arise from the destination country's or region's import requirements and are not additional charges imposed by us after shipment.
5. Tracking Information
Tracking availability depends on the shipping method used for the order.
Directly Trackable Shipments
For orders shipped through international courier services, parcel services, or other methods that generate a tracking number directly, we will generally provide the tracking number after the shipment has been dispatched.
After a tracking number is created, the carrier may require some time to complete the first scan and update its tracking system. As a result, a newly issued tracking number may not immediately display shipment activity.
Multi-Stage Shipments
Some machines or large shipments are first transported to the destination country or region by sea freight, air freight, rail freight, or another international freight method, and are then delivered to the final destination by a local courier, freight company, or truck carrier.
In these cases, the international transportation stage generally does not have a publicly available parcel tracking number that customers can use to monitor the shipment in real time.
Once the shipment enters the final delivery stage, the local carrier will usually generate a tracking number, freight bill number, or other delivery reference. For some truck or freight deliveries, the local carrier may instead contact the recipient directly by phone, text message, or email before delivery to arrange the delivery time or confirm other delivery details.
We will provide available tracking or delivery information once it becomes available.
The absence of a publicly trackable number during the international transportation stage does not mean that the shipment has not been dispatched or that there is a problem with the shipment. If needed, we can assist with checking the shipment's current status based on information provided by our logistics provider.
6. Large or Heavy Equipment and Special Delivery Locations
Final delivery of large or heavy equipment may be affected by factors including:
- Local road conditions and access for large vehicles
- Whether the delivery location can accommodate truck access or parking
- Whether special unloading equipment is required
- The local carrier's service area
- Other site-specific delivery conditions
If an order requires special delivery arrangements or is expected to incur additional charges, we will generally discuss these requirements with the customer before shipment.
If additional charges arise because the recipient cannot be reached, the delivery address is incorrect, the recipient fails to cooperate with delivery, or the customer requests special delivery services outside the original shipping arrangement, the customer may be responsible for redelivery, storage, or other related costs.
7. Shipping Address and Contact Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information, including:
- Recipient name
- Complete delivery address
- Postal or ZIP code
- Telephone number
- Email address, if required
- Any other information required by the carrier or customs authorities
If you discover an error in your delivery information, please contact us as soon as possible.
If the shipment has not yet been dispatched, we will make reasonable efforts to update the information. If the shipment has already been handed over to the carrier, we cannot guarantee that the delivery address or other shipping information can still be changed.
Any address-change, redelivery, storage, or other additional logistics costs resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or invalid information provided by the customer may be the customer's responsibility.
8. Shipping Delays
International shipments may be affected by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Customs inspections or clearance delays
- Carrier delays
- Flight or vessel schedule changes
- Port congestion
- Rail or ground transportation delays
- Severe weather or natural disasters
- Public holidays or strikes
- War or regional conflicts
- Government restrictions
- Transportation network disruptions
- Other force majeure events or unusual logistics conditions
If a shipment is delayed, we will make reasonable efforts to check its status, communicate with the carrier, freight forwarder, or other logistics provider, and provide the customer with relevant updates as they become available.
A shipment exceeding its estimated shipping or delivery time does not automatically mean that it has been lost.
9. Shipping Damage or Lost Shipments
If a shipment arrives with visible damage to the outer packaging or product, or if available tracking information indicates that the shipment may have been lost, please contact us as soon as possible.
If shipping damage has occurred, we recommend keeping and providing the following evidence:
- Photos of the overall outer packaging
- Photos of the shipping label
- Photos showing damage to the packaging
- Photos or videos showing damage to the product
- Any other information that may help document the condition of the shipment
Please retain the original packaging, shipping labels, and other relevant evidence until the issue has been resolved.
We may need to verify the situation with the carrier, freight forwarder, insurer, or other relevant logistics provider before determining the appropriate resolution based on the specific order and shipping circumstances.
Any refund, return, replacement, or other after-sales resolution will also be subject to our published Refund & Returns Policy.
10. Order-Specific Shipping Terms
Because orders may vary in size, weight, specifications, level of customization, and destination, production and shipping arrangements may differ from one order to another.
If specific production, shipping, customs clearance, or delivery terms for an individual order are expressly stated in any of the following:
- Product page
- Quotation
- Pro forma invoice or commercial invoice
- Other written communication or agreement between the customer and us
Those order-specific terms will take precedence over the general provisions of this Shipping Policy.
